I have been building upon my birth education and support of women since I was 17. With over a decade of experience in and out of birth spaces—I am dedicated to supporting women and their partners through what I believe to be one of life's most sanctifying journeys: pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. I strive to bring a gentle, compassionate presence to every birth experience, guiding mothers and their partners with love, prayer, and personalized care.
My mission is to honor, support, and advocate for each mother’s choices regarding where, when, and how she would like to give birth. I firmly believe that the best place for a mother to give birth is where she feels most safe, and I understand that this varies for each woman. Mary was the best choice for us for a doula. She gave me a voice and helped me make educated choices for my birth when it did not go as planned. I will forever be grateful to her for being there to help while I labored and be a strong pillar of faith and encouragement throughout my birth. I would highly recommend Mary.

I chose Mary to be my doula for both of my pregnancies and it was the absolute best decision I could make surrounding my birth. She listened to my every need and made me feel safe. She even helped with some decisions I didn’t even think to consider but she helped in the moment and informed me of all my choices. With my first birth I had to be transferred to a hospital (as I chose to birth at a birthing center) and Mary came to both the birth center and transferred with me to the hospital. I never felt unprepared or nervous about what was coming next because she prepared me for all the possibly outcomes and I felt very informed. My husband was undecided about hiring a doula (he thought he could handle everything) but he was extremely thankful for deciding to hire a doula and for choosing Mary. We took a birthing class with my first but in the moment of labor you completely forget everything you learned so it is nice having your own personal cheerleader that has you and your babies best interests at heart. Mary was definitely chosen by God to have a heart for compassionate care and it definitely shows in her practice. It was also a blessing to have her there as she was able to give me a lot of different techniques on how to labor better and when labor was stalling to pick it back up again. I can’t overstate how essential Mary was for both of my births and will definitely have her again if I have more kids.

From hiring, to the after birth check ins working with Mary was seamless. She was an invaluable resource throughout my pregnancy and birth. She has a very calming and reassuring presence. Highly recommend. Before my birth, she really helped me prepare for what was to come. From helping find the perfect birthing class to knowing my rights as a parent to giving resources on building a birth plan. She was support not only for me but my husband as well. She was with me in my most vulnerable moments and her being there was an invaluable comfort. After my birth she stayed to make sure that I was fed, supported and heard and that my after birth plan was respected. As a 1st time mom, having someone familiar with the workings of birth, hospital protocol and what to expect going into a completely new experience and one of the most life changing moments. I cannot imagine not having had the support of a doula and my experience with Mary was so amazing I would never choose to use anyone different in the future.
